New industrial building

«L. Kellenberger & Co. AG»

L. Kellenberger & Co. AG, a renowned manufacturer of precision grinding machines, is pooling its sites in St. Gallen, Romanshorn and Wittenbach in order to establish a pioneering industrial plant.

With our support, the perfect plot was found in Goldach on Thannäckerstrasse.

Precision meets sustainability

The complex industrial plant for L. Kellenberger was planned and realised in close cooperation with the Profond occupational pension scheme. The result is a prestigious company headquarters with modern architecture, a striking five-storey flagship building and an adjoining single-storey industrial building.

The assembly area, kept in white and flooded with natural light from skylights, is used for the final assembly of the precision machines. Precision is also required for the room temperature, which must not fluctuate by more than plus/minus 0.5 degrees Celsius. The hall roof is extensively fitted with photovoltaic modules, while heat is generated by a highly efficient groundwater heat pump.

Welcome to a world in which precision is not just a product, but an experience.

Customer experience is key

The new building not only focuses on optimising operational processes, but also on the customer experience and embodying brand values. The multi-storey lobby, with a precisely cut metal staircase, leads the visitor to an impressive showroom of the latest grinding machines. Behind this impressive setting is the spacious reception desk, which is reminiscent of a machine base and reflects the outstanding expertise of L. Kellenberger.
